The error is fairly difficult to understand, but it does give some clues. Basically, it means that the LDAP Server does not have a server certificate that has been issued by a trusted Certification Authority (e.g. Verisign).
This is fairly typical, as usually organisations will use self signed certificates for their internal servers.
The situation is actually similar to what you would see in a browser when you try to go to a site with an unrecognised SSL certificate. However it will usually give you an option like "I know the risks - just let me in anyway". And that is exactly what we want to do here.
You can import the remote server certificate into your local certificate store by running the following code:

hi this is very interesting..
i having little bit issue i enable the SSL debug when try to run the class
below is my log
i received this exception
java.io.IOException: invalid URI name (host portion is not a valid DNS name, IPv4 address, or IPv6 address):http://99ldap.lti-student.test/CertEnroll/lti-student-99LDAP-CA.crl
but in last i see the message
Added certificate to keystore C:\Program Files\JAVA\jre6\lib\security\cacerts using alias 'MY-Server-IP-1'
99ldap-lti.student.test is my test Active Directory server on my network..
after that when i try to perform the action to add user on AD with storing password connection is established but action not perform i want to make sure this was because of the Exception which i show you..if yes how i can overcome this.
